Give enough information to locate the issue
Include the account email and a concise explanation. For a payment, add its date, amount and receipt reference. For content, identify the page or character address. Include an existing support number if one has already been supplied.
Avoid unnecessary disclosure
Leave out passwords, one-time codes, complete card details and unrelated identity documents. Do not circulate suspected unlawful material in a community post; describe where it can be located instead.
Keep follow-up in the same conversation
Retain the message and any support reference, then use that thread to add information. If you also need cancellation or review of a charge, identify each request instead of assuming one completes the other.
